For prevention in the event of a recognizable risk of vitamin D deficiency in otherwise healthy people without absorption disorders, take ½ tablet of Vitamin D3 Hevert® daily (equivalent to 0.0125 mg or 500 IU of vitamin D). The tablets should be taken with sufficient liquid. For supporting the treatment of osteoporosis, take 1 tablet of Vitamin D3 Hevert® daily (equivalent to 0.025 mg or 1000 IU of vitamin D). For the prevention of rickets, take ½ tablet of Vitamin D3 Hevert® daily (equivalent to 0.0125 mg or 500 IU of vitamin D). The dosage must be determined by the treating physician. In general, 1 tablet of Vitamin D3 Hevert® (equivalent to 0.025 mg or 1000 IU vitamin D) is recommended daily to prevent rickets in premature babies.
