Ist ein reaktiviertes EBV (Epstein-Barr Virus) m\u00f6glicherweise an Long-COVID beteiligt? <\/p>\n

EBV (Epstein-Barr Virus) ist eine Spezies humanpathogener, umh\u00fcllter, doppelstr\u00e4ngiger DNA-Viren aus der Familie der Herpesviridae. Auch bekannt als infekti\u00f6se Mononukleose, wird durch das Epstein-Barr-Virus (EBV) verursacht, das zur Familie der Herpesviren geh\u00f6rt. <\/p>\n

Fast \u00fcber 80% der Bev\u00f6lkerung tragen das Epstein-Bar-Virus (EBV) in sich, ohne Symptome zu versp\u00fcren. Andere haben sehr schwere Symptome wie Lymphknotenschwellungen, Kopfschmerzen, Halsschmerzen, Leberbelastungen, Milzschwellungen und tiefe, lang anhaltende M\u00fcdigkeit (sogenanntes CFS).<\/p>\n

Long-COVID & EBV-Forschung aus US-Studie<\/h3>\n

Forscher um Jeffrey Gold von der Weltorganisation in den USA haben nun untersucht (siehe Studie: https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2076-0817\/10\/6\/763), welche Rolle die Reaktivierung bei langj\u00e4hrigen Covid-Patienten spielen oder auch die Intensit\u00e4t der Covid-Erkrankung beeinflussen kann.<\/p>\n

Eine EBV-Reaktivierung wurde bei 66,7% von 30 Patienten mit langfristigen COVID-19-Symptomen festgestellt, deren EBV-Status bestimmt wurde.<\/p>\n

Nach Ansicht des Forschungsteams ist Ganciclovir eine geeignete Behandlung. Eines der wenigen antiviralen Mittel in der pharmazeutischen Industrie.<\/p>\n

Was kann ich tun?<\/h3>\n

Auch die Alternativmedizin hat sich mit dem Thema besch\u00e4ftigt. So befasst sich die Mikroimmuntherapie<\/a> schon seit langem mit der (Re-)Aktivierung von EBV im Blut, und zwar in erster Linie. Was sind die Gr\u00fcnde und wie kann die (Re-)Aktivierung einged\u00e4mmt und nachhaltig beeinflusst werden?<\/p>\n
